Who I am.

HEY! My name is Angie Holladay…

For ten years, I lived on and off the streets. All the while, I was drinking and using crazy amounts of drugs to escape the hell of my every day life. Due to the street life, circumstances and bad choices, I landed in jail for three years… at the age of sixteen years old.

I’m twenty-eight years old now and, I began this blog as a memoir, for the same reason’s most of us begin a memoir. To cope. To give it away. To have something tangible.

I write about my past. I write about Jesus. I write just to empty my mind of it’s rantings. I write, sometimes, just to SURVIVE.

I’m human just like you, and the love of God is the only thing that saved my life.

  2. SO SO TALENTED!!! I anticipate your posts like waiting for the next episode of my favorite show – or like waiting for Christmas as kid and it finally gets here, and it is over way to fast.   13. I just wanted to tell you ive been reading your stuff and I admire you so much. Your courage and faith is truly an inspiration. we all have days where we feel like we cant go on.. hang in there. God is with you in your darkest moments.. He will hold you together. Sometimes we dont know how we’re gunna get through something til we do. And sometimes as much as it hurts its good to just look back and remember how far we’ve come.     • Thank you so much, I checked out your work, and I love it!!! The imagery, and words you chose, have this grittiness to it that hooked me in. There’s this strength, courage in all of it, that made me want more. I identified with that. I’m stoked on reading more..and super glad we came across each other!
